Welcome to Free Ride. We are a charitable bike workshop and membership programme based in Te Awa Kairangi ki Tai - Lower Hutt, NZ. We are a volunteer organisation.

We provide a range of free services, subsidised bike services and paid services. Please see our event listings and opening hours.

An easy ride along The Beltway Cycle way and the Hutt River Trail. This is a great 10k ride and goes through Motutawa Avalon park, and shows a safe route back to Naenae.

Join us for an Ebike group ride. This is an intermediate level ride (due to distance) and is best suited to capable riders and those who have completed a shorter ride with us already. It will include some road riding, river trail and further distance. Tickets are free, but a booking is required.

Take your team out on a great activity, you'll feel the wind in your hair and experience some of the great cycleways and views the region has to offer. Rides cost $400 are 2 hours and include two instructors, a cuppa and up to 11 e-bikes for your team to ride.
